Commission, tiers and Pro
SpotlessDoc takes a commission from each completed job. The rate is 15% by default and goes down two ways: a free ladder you climb by working, and a paid membership that buys the bottom rate immediately.
The free ladder
Section titled “The free ladder”Tiers are earned on completed jobs over a rolling 90 days and held by your average rating. Stop working and you drift back down; the window is rolling, not lifetime.
| Tier | Jobs in 90 days | Rating to hold it | Commission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | — | — | 15% |
| Gold | 20 | 4.60 | 14% |
| Platinum | 50 | 4.75 | 13% |
| Diamond | 100 | 4.85 | 12% |
Reaching a tier takes jobs; keeping it takes the rating. Fall below the rating for your tier and you drop one, with the commission that goes with it.
Tiers also carry a head start on new job offers and a badge on your profile. Diamond adds priority support.
Pro membership
Section titled “Pro membership”$29 a month. It buys:
- 12% commission — the Diamond rate, immediately, without the 100 jobs
- A 60-second head start on new job offers
- A Pro badge on your profile
- A dedicated support line
- The earnings dashboard with a monthly breakdown
Does it pay for itself?
Section titled “Does it pay for itself?”Pro saves you 3 percentage points against the standard rate. At $29 a month it breaks even at roughly $970 of completed work a month, and earns from there. Below that you are paying for the head start and the badge rather than the commission.
If you are already on Gold or Platinum the gap is smaller — 2 points from Gold, 1 from Platinum — so the break-even is correspondingly higher.
If you work for a company
Section titled “If you work for a company”Your company can hold one Pro membership, and every cleaner on its roster inherits the benefit. You do not buy your own.
Companies are billed per seat — one seat per cleaner on the roster — and the count follows the roster as people join and leave. An invitation that has not been accepted is not a seat, and that cleaner is neither charged for nor covered.
