Why am I not getting job offers?

Work in your area exists and none of it is reaching you. There are six reasons that account for nearly all of it, and they are worth checking in this order — the first is far more common than the rest put together.

  1. Jobs are matched on ZIP code. A job in a ZIP that is not on your list is never offered to you, however close it is, however empty your calendar, and however complete everything else looks.

Check: Settings → Service Area. A company checks its own service areas instead.

This is the one that catches people, because nothing else on the account looks wrong while it is true. The dashboard is green, the profile is complete, and the queue is silent.

  2. Availability narrows what you are sent, by day. A day that is not ticked is a day you are not offered — there is no “quiet day” state, only on and off.

Check: Settings → Availability → available days.

  3. Two separate settings filter by kind, and both have to allow a job before it reaches you:

    • Home-clean levels — Standard, Deep, Move In/Out
    • Services you offer — Residential, Apartment, Vehicle, Office, Post-construction, Move in/out

A narrow pair here looks identical to a quiet market. If some kinds of job arrive and others never do, this is almost always why.

    Check: Settings → Availability.

  4. Max jobs per day is a ceiling you set. Once the day’s assignments reach it, the matcher stops offering you work for that day.

Check: Settings → Availability → max jobs per day.

  5. This one only applies if you work for a company, and it is the company’s to fix, not yours. A company stops receiving work when any of these is true:

    • Its insurance certificate is missing, expired, or still in review
    • It has staff but no team — work is dispatched to teams, not to companies
    • It is carrying a negative balance

Check: with whoever runs the company. See Onboarding a cleaning company.

  6. An account that cannot be paid can be stopped from accepting work, so that a job is not completed and charged against an account the money cannot reach.

Check: the payouts screen says Complete. Anything else — see When and how you get paid.

An offer is not held open indefinitely. If you do not respond it expires and is passed to the next ranked cleaner, which is why an offer you saw an hour ago may no longer be there.

How long you get depends on how you were ranked for that job: between five and fifteen minutes. Pro members and cleaners on an earned tier also see new offers 60 seconds before everyone else, so a job can be taken before a standard cleaner is notified at all.

A job is offered to at most ten cleaners at once, and re-offered up to three times before an admin is alerted that the pool is exhausted.

If all six check out and the queue is still silent, the honest answer may be that there is no demand in your ZIPs at the times you are available. Widening the area or the days is the fastest test — and because settings apply to the next match, you will know within a day.
